I will first and foremost like to apologise for the long pause, silence, break …. the past few months. In between relocating and settling in to a new job, it has also been a time of re evaluation for us at the Heart Engine.
The Heart engine was born out of a desire to educate people on cardiac health, and overall health and wellness. However, over the past few months, I have been exposed to an entirely new level of practice as a cardiac physiologist. Working in one of the leading Cardiac specialist hospitals in Nigeria has opened my eyes more to the reality of cardiovascular disease and the impact it has in the lives of individuals, families, and the society at large. Everyday I learn, everyday I am inspired to help prevent the pain and suffering I see in the eyes of these patients.
So, I have decided to make my heart engine family a part of my growth. Subsequently, articles and posts will take on the format of a diary. In other words, blog posts will be themed based on real life experiences.
I look forward to this new phase with the heart engine, and I sincerely hope and pray that many lives will be touched and saved in the process.
